Carey Murphy received her MA in Film and Video at American University in the United States. She collaborated with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation on a public-service campaign for the Foundation's Chesapeake Bay grants program. She co-produced a series of short documentaries, a PSA, and an orientation video to accompany the grants program. Ms. Murphy directed and produced several short films and the short documentary, "The Raising or Razing of a Town?" in which she explores the advent of a new housing community in a traditional farming town. She served as an Americorps VISTA volunteer in Louisiana and worked as an environmental paralegal in Washington, DC.
Ms. Murphy served as Associate Producer for a PBS documentary on the findings of the 9/11 Commission entitled, "9/11: For the Record". Currently, she is the Associate Producer for a CNN Presents documentary exploring the intelligence failures leading up to the Iraq war. |
